Element Metal Finishes Sealer is a protective sealer and top coat designed to work on metal which has a rust activated finish. This clear coat chemically arrests the oxidized metal finish, minimizing any further corrosion, and then self-crosslinks to create a weather resistant barrier. Element Metal Finishes Sealer will form a film over the oxidized surfaces without cracking or yellowing. Element Metal Finishes Sealer may also be used on other non metal indoor or outdoor surfaces to protect and maintain the final finish.

Surface Preparation: Surface must be completely clean and dry, free of all loose particles, dirt debris and other contaminants that could inhibit adhesion.

Coverage: 200-400 sq ft./Gallon. Coverage will vary depending on surface conditions, porosity, and the amount of material applied by the applicator. The above coverage rates are estimates and will vary.

Storage: Store product in an area where the temperatures between 50-80º F. and not in direct sunlight. When properly sealed and stored, the shelf life of the sealer is up to 1 year. Store in flameproof metal cabinet.
